The Team Rallying Together For Greater Good

Yesterday a colleague shared with our Sales Team a speculative ad that was a result of team brainstorming in our weekly Creative Meeting. It is an excellent message. A Great concept. I am genuinely excited for both the client and my colleague! Now, I've never met this client but, the sense of pride I feel gives me a glow that reminds me of our Unique Selling Proposition, US!!! Our Team. We support one another as a Team and have a proven track record of dissecting client problems systematically and when ideas come together solid results follow.
The Creative Meeting looked a lot like this photo, only with more of us on the screen. All of us Zooming in and sharing with each other the individual challenges of our clients, their points of difference and what is success when the campaign is over. When we heard the speculative ad yesterday this process came full circle for me. We still follow the same process of getting our clients results now as we did before the pandemic.
I think it's what's ingrained in Mid-West Family that makes us different. Our annual "Effy" Award that has recognized the most effective locally produced ad campaign still drives our culture. We want to help clients succeed. No matter if it's to an individual's direct benefit or a teammate's, We Want To Help Clients Succeed! When they win, we win.
Nothing right now is certain, except uncertainty. No one can predict from hour to hour or day to day what this current pandemic world will bring. But, this story is a great example that even through adversity, we support one another and come together as a team for the greater good. This is an example of bringing out the very best in people.
As I personally look forward to the Big Ten Football season trying to get underway this weekend, I am reminded of someone who shaped my outlook on many many things in life. Bo Schembechler, the legendary Michigan Football Coach and his "The Team" mantra. "No Man (or woman) is greater than the Team. No Coach is greater than the Team..... We're gonna believe in each other. We're not gonna criticize each other. We're not gonna talk about each other. We're going to ENCOURAGE Each Other!!!
Yes, we ENCOURAGE Each other to do our very best for our clients, our community and each other. That describes the Team that is Mid-West Family of Southwest Michigan. I can't wait to hear that speculative ad launch a successful campaign on our air waves. It's how we ENCOURAGE each other in the present and into the future. I can't wait for our next Creative Meeting to see how we can help the next group of clients.
Thanks for Reading!
