Team Member Spotlight: Jessie Hilyard and The Benchmark Magic!

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about what Benchmark Magic means to me. That’s a hard question because you can answer it in a lot of different ways. We can talk about services we’ve been able to do, families and clients we’ve been able to help, but the reality is that’s a small part of a much bigger picture. What Benchmark represents to me is culture. Each individual Benchmark office is like a small family.

When we first started, we went through the learning curve with everybody else, but one of the things we’ve been lucky enough to be able to do is hire an underwriter (Jessie Hilyard) from my previous employer and incorporate her into our little family. 

Now, she comes to our office once a week, she comes to our meetings, and she’s collaborative. She’s not only a business partner but working with her has enabled us to boost our business. 

This happens all across Benchmark. This is just one of the many stories and many ways to express the Benchmark Magic!
