Team Leadville MHK Edition

I appreciate everyone helping our fundraiser!  This Saturday, I will be running our alternate marathon route for Team Leadville (https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/3128774449) and ultimately, Warriors' Ascent (warriorsascent.org) with two other teammates (one teammate's wife will be running a heavy half with their children riding bikes).  With June being national PTSD Awareness month, it's the perfect time to support our efforts on this great war within that so many Veterans, Service Members and First Responders can significantly reduce through Warriors' Ascents' weeklong Academy of Healing.  You are helping to save lives through your donations and sharing our efforts.  I'm almost a third of the way to my goal of $3,000 thanks to those who have supported me now and/or the previous three years.  Team Leadville has raised over $200,000 in the five years since my friend Tony Hofmann established it.  That means Warriors' Ascent has been able to help 100 men and women-our brothers and sisters combat PTSD.

We have 13 volunteers running this year in three time zones simultaneously (beginning at 9:00 am Central), with our 14th runner having to do his tomorrow (he is running the KC Marathon route at 6:30 am) due to logistical constraints.  Feel free to wave, cheer, or honk as you see our runners in our fluorescent yellow-green shirts enduring 26.2 miles to help save our Heroes!
