Team Lead - Ruby on Rails (RoR) Position #6

Location: Preferable Mumbai Experience: 8-10 Years

Job Summary:

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Lead Ruby on Rails (RoR) to join our growing team. The successful candidate will take charge of architecting, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications while leading and mentoring a team of developers.

A key responsibility includes managing migration projects from Ruby on Rails 3.x to the latest stable release, ensuring seamless transitions, optimized performance, and modernization of existing applications.

Requirements:

Experience:

8-10 years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails development, including migration projects from RoR 3.x to the latest stable versions.

Technical Skills:

• Ruby on Rails: Strong expertise in the framework and its components, particularly in version migration.
• Linux Environments: Proficient in managing and optimizing Linux-based servers.
• Apache: Extensive experience in server configuration and management.
• MySQL: Solid knowledge of database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Front-End Technologies: Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular (preferred).
• DevOps Practices: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.

Leadership Skills:

• Proven ability to lead and mentor development teams.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Problem-Solving Abilities:

• Analytical and detail-oriented mindset with exceptional troubleshooting skills.

Education:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
