TEAM launched at the Godo ATP 500 event

- At the opening of the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadel 64th Trophy Conde de Godó the free platform TEAM was presented, with a wonderful welcome reception from great figures and professionals from the tennis world.

The Barcelona Open Banc Sabadel 64th Trophy Conde de Godó has been the frontstage chosen to officially present the sports platform TEAM, for being one of the most prestigious tournaments in Spain and is part of the ATP World Tour 500.
TEAM is a free sports platform that was created by and for sport. Its main objective is to help athletes aged 8 years and up to overcome every day issues in their personal growth as a brand and get as far as possible in their sports progress in the best conditions of physical and mental health. The limits of each individuals sport careers is placed by oneself, TEAM helps both those who aspire to be professionally engaged as well as those who want to move forward as players while increasing their chances of promoting their own brands.
TEAM gathers in one single area amateurs, professional athletes, clubs, academies, universities and sports institutions, trainers, coaches, health professionals, sponsors and brands so they can interact with each other and cooperate in the progression of the players. The official launch of the platform, is an essential tool in assisting sports development and has coincided with the technical IX update organized by the department of education and research of the Royal Spanish's Tennis Federation (RFET) and the Catalan Federation of Tennis (FCT), in collaboration with the Real Club de tennis Barcelona-1899 and the Mapfre medical clinic specialized in tennis.
The directors of TEAM, Jose Campa?a and Joseph Keppeln, moderated by David Sanz, Director of the Department of education and research of the RFET, accompanied by Miguel Crespo, responsible for research and development of the International Tennis Federation (ITF), have unveiled many of the options that the platform provides: a free profile for each user to have their own personal space with privacy filters to enter training data, eating habits, workouts, sports agenda, videos and pictures among others. You can also communicate in real time with other teammates, coaches, doctors, nutritionists and a wide range of professionals who can collaborate to improve the physical and mental performance of the players.
Unconditional support for athletes
With the objective of always supporting players of all ages, TEAM was endorsed in the celebration of the ATP Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell-Trofeo Conde de Godó tournament by a large group of professionals and star players in the world of tennis. TEAM confirmed its commitment to sport and health, promoting on the one hand the chances of individuals being recognized for their achievements and dedication and for lack of financial means or because they reside in faraway places, would have very difficult time in climbing up the ladder; and on the other hand the platform is focused on having fun, helps improve performance and expands their social and leisure life.
Some leading figures and recognized tennis players have wanted to express its opinion about TEAM:
- Martin Rocca: the technician, who works with the number one Spanish tennis in a wheelchair, Dani Caverzaschi, and specialises in training tennis especially in the initiation stages, wanted to highlight the usefulness of TEAM as an element of communication for parents and for the importance that serves to stimulate the core base of tennis.
- Juan Carlos Monje: with a degree in psychology and a professional life dedicated to the education of players, summed up the platform as "TEAM supports discipline and correct organization of athletes, during which the dedication and sacrifice usually is reflected by being a good school student".
- Toni Colom: "travelling coach' of Rafael Nadal in the junior stage of the professional who is still very linked to his career supporting other players and highlights that “TEAM is an independent tool made by and for the protagonists of sport”, giving countless options of improvement and development".
- Daniel Caverzashi: Spain's Paralympic tennis champion, wanted to review that "the Group of people congragated by TEAM is spectacular” and has the ingredients in order to create good things".
- Ana Salas: Spanish champion and world champion + 35 and + 40, confirmed the importance that sport plays in seniors and that "TEAM can encourage more players of 60 years old, so we will be doing a great job".
Who makes TEAM possible
TEAM owes its name to the human resource team that has shaped it, the fruit and work of a multidisciplinary group comprised of recognized experts in the world of business, technology, IT, sports training and the field of marketing and communication. TEAM was created from their ideas, problems as users of sport and analysis of the market needs.
