The Team Captain Mastery Program at Betsson Group
At Betsson group, Learning and Development is deeply embedded in our company culture.?
We strive to equip our employees with the capabilities that allow them to pursue fulfilling career journeys. This also allows us to gain a competitive advantage and unlock growth. To do so, we run a number of trainings and initiatives on a regular basis.
One such initiative is the internal Team Captain Mastery Program with the aim to help train new Team Captains working in the Product Development area.
What does a Team Captain do?
The Team Captain works to support employees in their growth and help to empower their team members. It is an empowering and supporting role, guiding happy and efficient teams forward and is also the extension of the manager when it comes to dealing with team processes. A Team Captain acts on emotional intelligence and strives to bring energy to the room as well as facilitate discussions.
We are now mid way through the program with 50 betssonites attending. The program consists of multiple different sessions and they cover topics such as leadership, team building, facilitation and more.?The attendees also get to enjoy breakout sessions where they can share their experience with each other.
