The teachings of Islam to prevent depression,
One of the important things in life is stress. Stress is a constant reality in life. There are various ups and downs in human life, there are incoherence, misery, unavailability and pain etc.
Some of these things make the inside of the person restless and depressed, causing unnecessary annoyance. Stress can have a devastating effect on a person and the environment.
When a person is under stress, a kind of negativity comes to him. Starts to look at yourself or yourself in a negative light. As a result, self-confidence is shaken, depression is exhausted. Adverse effects of such unwanted mental states affect a person’s behavior. As a result, he started behaving indecently and incoherently, becoming unnecessarily aroused.
So how to deal with stress, how to deal with it; It is important to know that.
Studies have shown that religious sentiment and beliefs have the greatest impact on protecting people from tension. Modern physicians place the greatest importance on keeping religious values firmly in the mind of the individual in order to alleviate mental distress or anguish.
One study found that people who regularly attended religious services had a much higher recovery rate than those who did not.
Data from this study suggests that there is a strong link between physical well-being and spirituality. And religious beliefs and behaviors are the effective ingredients of real healing.

This is discussed in various places in the Holy Qur’an. The gist of those discussions is that those whose hearts are illuminated by the light of faith, see nothing but beauty, welfare and goodness in the whole world. They consider the world system to be the best system. They pray to the All-Wise, the Creator and Sustainer of God, who created this world for a specific purpose, and who chooses nothing but beauty and good for his creation. In this case, if there is a deficiency or complication in something, then those inconsistencies are tolerable and fall into the stage of solution.
Verse 156 of Surah Al-Baqarah says, “Those who believe in Allah draw attention to the fact that in the face of any calamity, we must return to Allah and to Allah.” ‘
It is said that fear is one of the main causes of stress. And of all the ways to overcome fear, religious beliefs play the most effective role. Religion destroys the place where fear originates.
Islamic scholars are of the opinion that people who are brought up in the shadow of Islamic teachings are safe from stress in the eyes of the Holy Qur’an. Because the source of energy is the human relationship with which no other power on earth can influence him. So people who have a relationship with God, the source of energy, are not afraid of anything else.
The Holy Qur’an says, ‘Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day and does good deeds, there is no reason for him to fear or grieve. ‘
Remember, you are a special person and you deserve to be treated the best. So is religious education. Therefore, the teachings of Islam are to remember Allah in times of calamity, to be patient, to be God-fearing or pious, to be steadfast without breaking into calamities, to do good deeds to avoid depression and to advance in the welfare and service of others. With these inner beliefs, a person can withstand stress and trauma in the face of a severe storm.
The most important and effective way to establish a relationship with God is prayer and supplication. These reduce mental instability. At the same time, it conveys strong hope to the individual. Because the Qur’an says in Kareem, ‘Only through remembrance or remembrance of Allah the hearts get peace. ‘
