Be teaching Quantitative Inquiry Spring 2022
I will be teaching Introduction to Quantitative Inquiry (GEDU 706) for the School of Education at the University of San Francisco next Spring. The course will focus on the conduct of quantitative research from a critical perspective and will include attention to such concepts as QuantCrit and Critical Race Theory. I will be sharing my own insights on Critical Assessment and unveiling the Disjuncture-Response Dialectic (Sul, 2021) for the first time in a classroom environment.
I have begun compiling a reading list as well as class activities for the course. Please message me if you know of any other places where a similar approach to quantitative educational research methods is being used or are interested in learning more about this unique approach to quantitative educational research methods.
This will mark my return to USF for the first time since graduation last Spring and will be the second time in my teaching career where I've taught at my alma mater. Looking forward to seeing former classmates and professors in my new teaching role.
