Today, in these difficult financial times and tight economy, predators are lurking in the shadows. These Phantoms hunt out and target vulnerable areas of our lives; attacking financial, emotional, mental, physical and spiritual energy. These unseen predators can walk away with their victim's identity.

People are struggling with foreclosure, job loss, divorce, illness, and death. This impacts the collective energy of our country's resources. Small businesses are closing at record rates. Schools being dumbed down with children becoming victims of complacency. Places of worship failing to show people how to cope with this depressive climate and support faith. The medical community is struggling to survive because of unnecessary government interference.

What is the core part the Phantoms are stealing? It is hope!

Are you losing your hope? Have you wondered if your life could be reproduced in a Hollywood conspiracy thriller, and you swear it is written by professional playwright? Would anyone believe it?

The events of our environment move us emotionally, causing daily frustration. In trusting innocence, we witness these realities happening all around us creating hopelessness. Our thoughts keep us on pins and needles. We feel as though we are sitting in a lifeboat in the middle of a raging sea with a hurricane bearing down on us at 100 mph or more.

Looking at the formula of the 3's; 3 minutes without oxygen, 3 days without water, 3 weeks without food people die. Science suggests that people can only live 3 seconds without hope. The time then comes when people no longer want to live to grow their dreams.

In this complex, microwave world, the wisdom of yesteryear has crawled back into the silent darkness somewhere in the recesses of the brain.

If you can relate to this and feel damaged almost beyond repair, there is good news! You can lead a life filled with courage, hope and faith.

You can revive precious hope with this simple formula. Regardless of how you feel when you get up each morning, find something you are grateful for. Express your gratefulness to God. Then look for a blessing to occur that day and give thanks each night.
