Teach me the art of Small Steps

Prayer written by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry during one of the hardest times of his life.

′′Lord, I ask not for miracles or miracles, but for the strength of every day. Teach me the art of small steps. Make me observant and resourceful in order to stop on time at discoveries and experiences that make me excited. Teach me how to manage the time of my life. Give me a subtle flair to distinguish between the paramount and the secondary.

I ask for the power of abstinence and measures that I do not flutter and glide through life, but reasonably plan the day, I can see the peaks and give and at least sometimes find time to enjoy the art.

Help me understand that dreams can't be help. No dreams of the past, no dreams of the future. Help me be here and now and take this moment as the most important.

Save me from naive faith that everything in life should be smooth. Give me a clear consciousness that complexities, defeats, falls and failures are only a natural component of life that makes us grow and mature. Remind me that the heart often argues with reasoning.

Send me at the right time someone who has the courage to tell me the truth, but to say it loving!

I know a lot of problems are solved if you do nothing, so teach me patience.

You know how much we need friendship. Let me be worthy of this most beautiful and gentle gift of destiny.

Give me a rich imagination to give someone the necessary warmth at the right time, at the right time. Make me a person who knows how to reach those who are completely ′′down ".

Save me from fear of missing something in life. Give me not what I wish for myself, but what I really need. Teach me the art of small steps".
