To Teach is to Learn.

After series of corporate training, it was a refreshing experience leading a presentation skills workshop for this group of amazingly talented and passionate young individuals from Zubin Foundation. They were also born and raised in HK, but they have way less access to different opportunities just because they represent the ethnic minority and come from a more humble background. It just reminds me how grateful we should be with everything that we have. Towards the end of the workshop, I led a section called "The Power Song", where I help the participants visualize the person they aspire to become in 20 years while immersing themselves in powerful music. Right after the music stopped, I can literally see the spark in their eyes, and that was a moment full of energy and enlightenment. One student came up and told me: "Gary, I couldn't believe what I just saw, it's larger than life." Those words really moved me, and I hope that experience would change their whole life trajectory for good. As a teacher, your role is to inspire others, but you get inspired at the same time seeing how others transform. I thought I was here to give, yet I've gained even more. It is a true pleasure to embark on this new learning journey. #giveistogain
