At a recent?Teach First National Schools Forum?participants?had a clear ask of government -?education needs a long term strategy less subject to constantly changing politics.
The FED's?National Education Consultation Report 2022?showed us, as a result of a long term vision, strategy and plan, our education system will benefit from?greater stability,?policy collaboration,?a?pathway to meeting present and future needs?and?joined up policy-making to meet the needs of all learners.

This week saw the celebration of the ninth?Annual Apprenticeship Conference,?Kirstie Donnelly MBE, CEO of City & Guilds and Headline Sponsor of the event said?'it’s our time to act now to reshape the system for the future. At best, the apprenticeship system needs some tweaks and at worst a complete overhaul.'We also want to thank members of our?Practitioners Council?who attended another consultation event?with the?OECD,?partners?Parentkind?and?Teach for All, seeking to understand?‘what does education need to be like for all learners to be able to flourish’.
