TDC July Highlights

Introduction

Summer is upon us (although our British weather may disagree!) and despite it being a holiday season, we’ve had lots of activity across the month of July. An incredibly important moment for our agency was the support of the D&T Association’s vision paper to the government calling for an overhaul in the curriculum. We were thrilled with some of the results received for Seymourpowell’s new identity for Silent Pool Distiller’s new Black Juniper Gin, Free The Bird’s new fragrance launch that inspires creativity, and SketchUp’s home energy saving strategies running in this issue’s Grand Designs.

We also welcomed Julia Sal, our new Account Executive to the team this month. Julia has a background in journalism and a particular research interest in AI. Julia is going to be sharing her findings and the latest developments in AI with our readers via a monthly TDC blog post – so do look out for this.

We are ending the month on a high with our team attending the Design Truth event tonight – an event and platform we are super proud to sponsor – that brings together a community of key players in industrial design and innovation. We share an interview the founder of Design Truth, Brad Harper, to talk about the community he’s built in an article below.
