Rich Hume, the architect behind the Tech Data-Synnex merger three years ago that led to the creation of TD Synnex, told CRN he is ready to pass the CEO baton to incoming CEO Patrick Zammit .

In the first half of the year, cyberattacks and data breaches have included ransomware attacks against Change Healthcare and CDK Global, as well as data theft and extortion attacks targeting Snowflake customers.
