TCorp funds two Far West councils
In April, the NSW Government announced a COVID-19 support package, opening up TCorp infrastructure funding to all councils. I was privileged to visit Broken Hill City Council and Wentworth Shire Council to celebrate their recent loan approvals.
It was exciting to visit Broken Hill and Wentworth to discuss upcoming projects and challenges. I saw how the new funding will benefit Broken Hill shopkeepers in the redevelopment of the CBD, local athletes and general community in the upgrade of sports and park facilities. In Wentworth, the improvement to local sewerage and storm water drainage will support new housing development in this growing NSW satellite city .

For something a little different visit Silverton 26 km from Broken Hill. Famous for such iconic films as Mad Max (and home to the Mad Max museum below) and Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.
