The TCM Newsletter: Issue #37

As the season settles into autumn, we look at the leaves change to orange, red and amber. There's a chill in the air as you wake up, and a scrap of sunshine is something to be savoured.

...but it's also the season of?serious?lurgy. If you're anything like me, you'll have had a nice dose of Covid this week.?

But don't worry, I was never going to leave you without a newsletter. I would never do that to you.?

So here I am, in all my germ-ridden glory. What's going on at TCM?

Our Consultant of the Week is Charlotte May, once again! Constantly impressing us, we had no choice but to award her with the accolade this week.

We know you enjoyed our video so much last week that we've got another for you. Watch leadership in animation below.

It's also your last chance to learn about neutral evaluations. Sign up to our webinar next week to get the goss from Harriette and Thoralf.

Maybe you want to go old school and?read?something. Fear not, we have a blog for you on the importance of data from our Digital Marketing Exec Malachi.?

If you're feeling like you want in on the spotlight, however, what about writing a blog? Think of an idea, get creative and start writing - The Institute of Organisational Dynamics wants to hear from?you.

See you next week, sans cough. ??

If there is anything you would like to see in your weekly newsletter, please do let me know. We welcome any feedback.

We?know?Charlotte's been nominated twice recently, but it's for very good reason. Having handled a recent sensitive case, managing to secure a mutual resolution even through complex circumstance, this is just a token of our appreciation of her continual care and empathy towards parties in mediation.

Since working with TCM, Charlotte's been inundated with tricky cases. Never one to shy away when the going gets tough, Charlotte's worked extremely hard to support compassion, courage and communication in all workplaces.

Now Showing: Leadership in Animation ??

We heard how much you loved our mediation explained video last week.

The show's not over yet.?

Today's screening is our Engage Leadership animation!?

Grab your popcorn, take your seat and watch transformational leadership unfold before your eyes. It's only 3 minutes long too, so you can get back to your desk in no time.

Lost in the Maze of Conflict? ??

Have you ever had a problem at work? Did it feel like entering a maze with no clear route to reach the other side?

You might need to conduct a neutral evaluation.

It’s a fact-finding exercise to…

1???Diagnose the problem

2???Work out a route to resolution

3???Implement the solution

Our next webinar, held next?Wednesday 12th?October from 12.30-1.30pm, will teach you exactly how to do this.

Don’t get lost in the maze.

Let's Talk Data ??

Data.

*shudder*

That four-letter word can often be a point of fear for many technophobes. Estimates, analytics, predictions… it all brings a sour taste in my mouth.

But really, we should be leaning into data. That scary word has a lot to tell us, if only we’d listen.

Our Digital Marketing Exec Malachi has a lot to say about the importance of data:

"Figures around employee performance, behaviour, trends, opportunities and issues can be utilised to inform operational decisions that improve culture, correct any damaging behaviours or trends and pre-empt opportunities or burgeoning issues."

Feeling a little less scared and a little more intrigued? Read his latest blog to understand, utilise (and not underestimate) data.

Fancy Putting Pen to Paper? ??

Give me a run for my money and get creative by writing a blog for The Institute of Organisational Dynamics. If you’ve got an idea, we want to hear about it. If you’ve got better puns than me though, I’ll be mad about it.
