4. Discuss and prioritize initiatives:
- Establish an apprenticeship program for the 2023 intake
- Develop career pathways – promote these with career expos, through social media, TAFE, and other RTOs
- Work out the best way to attract more women into the industry – we need to have women at the table to help solve this
- Training programs to upskill workers in different aspects of telco construction
- Liaise / lobby government for telco technicians to be included in immigration
- Establish a governance committee to engage with key stakeholders to establish consistent standards for WHSE requirements?
