At TC3 in Silicon Valley today. Interesting presentation by KPMG about M&A in the Communications space. Key trends include a big push for NFV as networks drive towards drop verbalisation to enable greater agility ahead of 5G rollout in 2020. Also a very clear focus on IOT as approx 40% of deal flow is IOT as companies focus on building out capability as the monetisation of IOT becomes a reality.
