taylors 'error' tour

well well well we are finally off the road from a heck of a 30-day ‘tour’. my boss said instead of the taylor swift ‘eras tour’ we should make a shirt that says the ‘taylor desseyns error tour’ LIKE ERROR WITH CODE DO YOU GET IT!! to recap the last 30 days…

• torc HQ all hands in boston
• spoke at blkmenintech x thrive tech conference in florida
• spoke at momentum dev conference in cincinnati
• spoke at all things open in raleigh
• threw a torc meetup with renderatl and downtown techies
• headed to guadalajara mexico to speak at my very first international conference at jsconfmx
• threw a private torc dinner with community influencers

the torc community team has been hard at work planning for 2025 (yay for budgeting) and executing some community initiatives for the rest of the year. here is a quick recap of some things the team has done recently:

• my guy jason is a hosting SUPERHERO right now. we had our first AI panel that was amazing. shout out to marlon avery, jeremy morgan, and xavier morera . it was an incredible panel on AI and you should check it out!
• if you haven’t seen the announcement I moved guidance counselor 2.0 to the torc platforms so you can catch me on our youtube !!
• my right-hand woman briana holmes has been setting up over 75+ email campaigns to go out to the 100k+ talent community members we have on our platform to start engaging people and educating them on everything we are doing and are about to do
• we are almost at 2k members in our discord !! this is a HUGE feat and our active discord members hover around 10% which is a great indicator for us (obviously would love to get that number higher but baby steps)
• my goal is to have something going almost every day of the week for you to be involved within our community (pulling from my southern baptist church roots) so here is what we are planning

• our discord is up to 1900+ members now (up 100 in a week)! come and hang! i’m planning on a discord overhaul soon to make it more interactive but you should 100% join
• we are going to be a little quiet on the in-person meetup front but we have some virtual events coming up so check out our meetup page !
