In the digital era, tax filing has evolved significantly. Consumers now have two primary options: the traditional retail journey of having a tax professional prepare your taxes, and the digital journey of completing and filing your own taxes online. Each method has its own unique benefits and challenges. Over the past few years, due to the complexity of my tax situation, I’ve had to utilize in-person tax filing services. There is also one unanswered question: while I remained loyal to the brand as I crossed channels, I am unable to confirm how seamless my experience would be if I were to cross channels down the road. Will my tax information be easily carried over from one channel to another? Perhaps our friends at H&R Block can comment if this post reaches their feed.
