The newest Culinary Member at Tavern in the Square: Terrell Wilson!

Boston- MA- Please join us in welcoming our newest Culinary Team member, Terrell Wilson! Originally from New Jersey, Terrell is a culinary prodigy with a passion as diverse as his upbringing. At 35 years old, he stands as a testament to the power of determination and an insatiable appetite for culinary excellence.


Terrell began his journey at Johnson & Wales University, where he concentrated on international cuisine. After graduation, he landed an extraordinary opportunity at the world-famous Walt Disney World, where he worked alongside experienced chefs from all over the world at The Grand Floridian.


Following his experience at The Grand Floridian, Terrell joined Hilton and spearheaded a task force as a chef, opening multiple hotels' culinary programs. At the age of 26, Terrell opened his own restaurant in New Jersey with his Dad, which was a spin on the town's Prohibition laws back in the day. Terrell turned a part of it into a speakeasy vibe. During this period, he learned many lessons from opening and creating a concept restaurant and realized he wanted to focus more on the food side than business. He joined the team at Farmers Daughter and helped Grid Hospitality Group open seven concept restaurants, learning the roots of opening multiple locations.


Terrell's new role with Tavern in the Square is the dream job of every aspiring chef. His role involves conceptualizing dishes and transforming them into visual and gustatory masterpieces. Terrell relishes the creative process, focusing solely on the art of cuisine. We're thrilled to have you on board, Terrell, and can't wait to see what you accomplish in your new role!
