Looking to support a complex software application in an interesting market? We are looking for technical support engineers to provide assistance to retail businesses using our cloud-based retail store management software.? Our MicroBiz Cloud Point of Sale application runs an entire retail business – ringing up sales, accepting payments, managing customer orders, purchasing goods from vendors and managing inventory.? Our software integrates with popular 3rd party apps to sync sales and inventory between retail stores and ecommerce sites and to publish financials to QuickBooks Online. Our software also integrates with a payment terminals and a variety of retail hardware, including bar code scanners and receipt printers.

The Job

We are looking for motivated and smart English-speaking technical support engineers to provide technical assistance to our customers. You will be responsible for training new customers, importing data files, resolving customer problems, identifying and testing bugs and troubleshooting integrations. You will provide support via email and? phone.

Responsibilities

• Managing the implementation of new customers.????
• Responding to incoming calls and emails requesting technical support.
• Guiding clients through corrective steps.
• Performing research on more complex problems, including documenting the issue, collaborating with our software developers.?
• Correcting problems on integrations with POS hardware (printers, payment terminals, barcode scanners).?
• Test new versions of the software and develop content for the online support knowledgebase.

Requirements

• Strong English writing and speaking skills (customer communication is in English via email and phone).
• Good listening skills and ability to comprehend the customer issue.
• Ability to clearly describe technical concepts to people with limited computer skills.
• Knowledge of Freshdesk.com or other CRM/call center system
• Ability to work US business hours

Education

College degree plus 1 year of related experience (supporting computer users and/or training users on technical products).

Location and Work Hours

?Position is located at our development office in Yerevan, Armenia.?The work hours are 16:00 to 0:00 Armenia time.
