Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Unveils Premium EV Retail Stores in Kochi; Kia India Launches New ‘Kia Subscribe’ Flexible Ownership Plan and More...

Tata Passenger Electric Mobility (TPEM), a subsidiary of Tata Motors and a leader in India’s electric vehicle (EV) revolution, has launched two exclusive EV retail stores under the TATA.ev brand in Kochi. The new stores, located in Edappally and Kalamassery, aim to redefine the EV purchase and ownership experience, catering to the evolving expectations of India’s growing EV community.


Kia India , a prominent player in the premium automotive market, has announced the launch of a new flexible ownership program called ‘Kia Subscribe.’ This initiative is set to expand Kia’s Leasing & Subscription services across 14 major cities in India, including Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Indore, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Jaipur.


Jitendra EV has announced that its electric scooter model, the JMT 1000 SW, will now support the IS17017 (Part 2 / Sec 7) standard, also known as the LECCS (Light Electric Combined Charging System) connector. This development marks a significant advancement in India’s electric vehicle (EV) sector, as LECCS is a charging connector specifically designed for light electric vehicles (LEVs) and engineered in India.
