Tata Group’s Innovation: Best-in-class Globally

The illustrious Tata Group is the only Indian name to feature in the 波士顿谘询公司 survey of, 'Most Innovative Companies of 2023', and ranked 20th in the coveted list of 50 companies. The rankings are based on holistic parameters including superior performance, higher resilience to disruption, faster value-creation, AI tech capabilities, and an innovation-centric culture.?The top ten ranks are held by 苹果 , Tesla , 亚马逊 , Alphabet Inc. , 微软 , Moderna , 三星电子 , 华为 , 比亚迪 , and 西门子 .

The BCG initiative underlines the role of innovation in helping the company, stay ahead of the curve, sustain economic downturns, and meet their environmental obligations like lower emissions. The Tata group has resolved to facilitate net-zero emission by 2045 under its "Greennovation" theme, for paving the way for a circular economy built on the principles of #sharing, #reusing,?and #recycling, as also preserving and restoring #nature and #biodiversity

• According to the report, cost was the driving force behind innovation in the case of 62% of the companies surveyed
• While auto companies won multiple positions in the prior year's rankings, this year has seen energy players occupying five positions with Tech as a defining dominating feature of the list despite the headwinds
• This year, the BCG list comprised a wider geographical purview spanning across Europe and Asia, besides the Middle East for the first time ever
• Notably, all the names of the BCG list have consistently outperformed the broader market since the year 2005
