Tata Consumer Products enters the plant-based meat market

India’s leading food company Tata Consumer products recently launched a new plant-based ready-to-eat meat product line in India. It has been named: Simply Better. The four products launched under this category include nuggets, burger patties, spicy fingers and kebabs.

There has been a rise in the development of the plant-based meat market in India, with many consumers preferring to go plant-based with their food choices. A report suggests the meat alternative market in India is estimated to be over USD 47.57 million.
