A Taste of Sunday Brunch

AI is powering medical miracles. While AI has been making its way into medicine for many years, it recently helped accomplish one of the most miraculous feats to date. Gert-Jan Oskam was paralyzed a decade ago, but an AI-assisted surgical procedure helped him walk again. Researchers inserted electronic implants in areas of Oskam’s brain and spinal cord and used AI to create a “digital bridge” between his brain and spine, putting his thoughts into action. As Oskam is the first human to receive this procedure, the tech is still nascent, but this breakthrough provides hope for repeated success. (Good Morning America)?
