Program Closure for 2023-24
The Tasmanian Skilled Migration State Nomination Program for the 2023-24 period is now closed to new Registrations of Interest (ROI).
Next Steps for Invited Applicants
If you have received an invitation to apply for nomination, you are still able to lodge your application up until the invitation's expiry date. No further invitations will be issued for this program year.
Assessment of Pending Applications
Migration Tasmania will continue to evaluate the applications that have already been submitted but not yet decided. However, please note that only a few nomination places remain, and not all applicants will be nominated within this program year.
Future Nomination Process
Once the remaining nomination places are filled, any additional approved applications will be queued for nomination once Tasmania receives its allocation for the 2024-25 program year.
ROIs with Green or Gold Pass
Registrations of Interest that have been allocated a green or gold pass will be retained in the Application Gateway. These ROIs will be considered for an invitation to apply for nomination when the 2024-25 program opens.
Looking Ahead to 2024-25
Details about the 2024-25 program, including its opening and any new criteria, will be published on the Migration Tasmania website and included in their newsletter as soon as it becomes available.
Stay tuned for updates and ensure you are subscribed to the newsletter for the latest information.
