Task Recorder Screenshots Using Google Chrome for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply chain Management

Hi All, Here I am back this week with a small but important task for Dynamics 365. This week I couldn’t pick another topic due a busy schedule but next week I will definitely be back with a Good feature of Dynamics 365.

So, we all are aware about the Task Recorder functionally of Dynamics 365 but we also know the missing feature of capturing the screenshot which can help us in preparing the End user manuals.

But no worries we have the solution now using a “Browser Extension” in google chrome.

Step-1: Search to the URL for add-in

Step-2: Click on Add to Chrome

Step-3: You should see the Enables Extension in your browser

Navigate to Google Chrome > More Tools > Extensions

Now we are ready to use this in Dynamics 365.

Step-4: Microsoft Dynamics 365 > Settings> Task Recorder

Step-5: Create Recording > Enable for Screen capture

We will see new option

Once we will start recording the task and stop. Export the recording in word document. Work document will have the screen shots captured for all the steps.
