Lost Golden City is now found

A 3,000 year old city was found near Luxor. The lost city is said to be the largest ancient city every uncovered. "The discovery of this lost city is the second most important archaeological discovery since the tomb of Tutankhamun," Betsy Brian, professor of Egyptology at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, US, said.

Another discovery, a sphinx like statue was found near the Hathor Temple in southern Egypt. The limestone sphinx is thought to represent Roman Emperor Claudius, who ruled between 41 and 54 AD and extended Roman rule in Northern Africa. Archeologists also found a slab with demotic and hieroglyphic inscriptions.

From Sao Paolo to Egypt

The Minister of Tourism announced the start of direct flights from Brazil to Egypt starting September 2023. The charter flights will be operated by Spain's largest air consolidator MasterFlights. The newly announced flights will operate every Monday on board the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
