Tariffs harm the poor the most....

It is a quantifiable fact that tariffs hurt the poor the most.
?Economists Miguel Acosta and Lydia Cox, among many others, have published research on tariff rates on consumer goods. They found that tariffs are higher on mass-market products than luxury goods. For example, mass market shoes pay a tariff of 48%, sweaters 32%, and men’s shirts 32%. On the other hand, luxury item tariffs are 8.5%, 4%, and 0.9%, respectively.
Raising tariff rates in the belief that this economic policy will increase a nation's competitiveness is akin to believing that consuming carrots will cure myopia, ingesting household disinfectants will kill COVID, and taking Ex-Lax will cure diarrhea.?

8 个月?You just lost all credibility with your last paragraph. It is clear you simply hate Trump. I would expect better from someone at academia. I hope FIU realizes the kind of professional you are, and takes action accordingly. I certainly would not want my children to be exposed to a professor like you.
