Target Market Audience is a differentiator . . .

In today’s business climate, there exists a high level of competition for precious marketing and advertising dollars. Many business owners know the importance of advertising and marketing their business, but with very limited or in some cases, very minimal budget dollars to achieve this important goal, business owners are left to free websites, free business listings, free, free free . . .

In some cases, business owners are confused or even numb to marketers placing cold calls (15-20 calls received per day) asking about their website or the preverbial cold call that states “I can get you on the 1st page of Google”.  Here is where I believe marketers can differentiate themselves from the competition-target market audience.  Instead of talking about impressions, clicks and clickthrough traffic, I believe that marketers should engage business owners in a thoughtful conversation about their group of customers and just as important, the group of customers that a business owner would like to attract.  Every business needs to have a target market audience.  It is critical in this age of competition to aim marketing messages at a particular market to drive additional leads to the business.  In addition, the cost of acquisition should be lower because this is the audience that is ready to buy in many cases.

Target market audience leads to higher conversions, lower cost of acquisition and a higher ROI!
