Taraka Ratna Passes Away After a Cardiac Arrest During Padayatra
Telugu actor Taraka Ratna, the grandson of the legendary N.T. Rama Rao, passed away on February 12, 2022, at the age of 40. He had been battling for 23 days after collapsing due to cardiac problems during the padayatra of his cousin and TDP leader Nara Lokesh in Kuppam. Despite the best efforts of doctors and specialists from the US, Taraka Ratna could not survive and breathed his last in Bengaluru’s Narayana Hospital.
Early Life and Career
Taraka Ratna made his debut in the Telugu film industry in 2002 with the film Okato Number Kurradu. He created a sensation in the industry as nine films were launched on the same day, with him in the lead role. Despite the success of his debut film, Taraka Ratna did not achieve much success in his career. He appeared in about 20 films, including Yuvaratna, Bhadradri Ramudu, Amaravathi, and Nandeeswarudu, but did not achieve the same level of success as his debut.
