A Journey of Passion and Perseverance: Building MY SHISHU

As I look back on the past two years, I'm filled with a mix of pride, nostalgia, and immense gratitude. This picture captures a pivotal moment in our journey—a moment that encapsulates the sweat, tears, and unwavering determination it took to bring MY SHISHU to life. Here we are, in our first studio setup at the 91Springboard co-working space in Whitefield, Bangalore, meticulously crafting what we envisioned as a game-changer in the world of parenting.

The journey began with a simple yet profound idea: to change the definition of parents and parenting. My life companion, Lipika Pasari , and I embarked on this mission, creating a comprehensive series of video courses spanning three crucial categories: Planning a Baby, Pregnancy, and Parenting till Pre-teen and Teenager Children (0-15 years).

Over these two years, we produced over 100 videos, each averaging 10-12 minutes in duration. Our work was not just about quantity but quality, and we ensured that each video was rich in content and value. We recorded in two languages, English and Hindi, to reach a broader audience. The process was intricate—scripted and redrafted by Lipika, modulated and acted out by myself, and produced, directed, and edited in-house. This was a self-funded, bootstrapped project, born from our vision to empower parents everywhere.

In this photo, I am guiding our crew to set up the studio just the way we envisioned. It was a time of constant re-takes, adjustments, and striving for perfection. The patience and calmness required to wait for that perfect shot were immense. We aimed for Netflix-level video quality, and achieving that was no small feat.

This journey, aptly called TAPASYA, was filled with ups and downs. We faced challenges with health, wealth, trust, and faith. Some team members turned into pillars of support, while others taught us valuable lessons. That's the essence of life, isn't it? Despite the hurdles, we kept pushing forward, often feeling like we were in a zone of "ZERO but NOT OUT."

What kept us going was the electrifying partnership I share with Lipika. Without her, none of this would have been possible. She is not just my life companion but also my creative partner, my rock, and the missing piece in the jigsaw puzzle of our dreams.

For Lipika Pasari , I dedicate the song "Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai" by Roop Kumar Rathod, which beautifully captures our bond:

"Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai, Yaara Main Kya Karoon, Sajde Sar Jhukta Hai, Yaara Main Kya Karoon."

As we continue this journey, we know there's a long way to go. But with the lessons we've learned and the passion that drives us, we're ready to take on whatever comes next. Here's to changing the world, one parent at a time.
