Welcome Message from Amanda Hickey, Lead Coach and Director at The Activation Project
2024 has been a year of preparing for tenders, delivering coaching to some amazing people that we have had the privilege of working with, continuing the development of our offer, working with some great teams, and finally supporting Sport England with the development of their new offer for Leaders. It has been great to put our creative and innovation skills into the Sport England tender, our social media campaigns and development of our website this year.
As a team, we have grown and developed ourselves to be ready to face any new challenges. We have had pleasure of working alongside some very interesting clients. We have been supported by our extended team of coaches and our partners within the consortium. We are excited about the opportunities and the work that will come to fruition in 2025.

Coaches’ Development
At The Activation Project, we focus on improving our coaches' skills to foster more inclusive environments. We offer training and development opportunities that help our coaches enhance their leadership styles, enabling them to support individuals from different backgrounds and viewpoints effectively.
By focusing on inclusivity, we aim to help teams grow stronger and more cohesive. Working alongside Inclusive Employers adds an extra layer of support, providing valuable resources to enhance our coaching approach.

World Braille Day
On January 4th, we marked World Braille Day, a day to celebrate the importance of Braille for people with visual impairments. Braille helps individuals read, write, and access information independently, promoting equality and inclusion. At TAP, we’re committed to making our coaching and mentoring programmes accessible to everyone. World Braille Day reminds us of the importance of creating inclusive environments where all individuals can succeed.
World Religion Day
On January 15th, we observe World Religion Day, a day dedicated to understanding and respecting all faiths. This occasion serves as a reminder of the significance of embracing diversity and promoting an inclusive culture. At The Activation Project, we are dedicated to creating coaching and mentoring environments where every belief is acknowledged and honoured.
