Re: "Rock Star" Preferred Food & Beverage Retailer of the Month Disclosure
Business Associates, Potential Partners, Affiliates, & All Others,
I am not a marketing professional nor do I work in that industry. I am an experienced shopper/ buyer, which includes budget analyst. Further, part of my role as TAP's Chief of Communications and Office Liaison (yes, I wear many hats) is to promote relevant information pertaining to small but sometimes nationally dispersed business chains and outlets, and a few select larger national chains within TAP's economic impact zone. These businesses do not have partnerships with TAP, but they have been recognized for outstanding leadership in the areas of customer service, affordable pricing including discounts, savings, and buyer perks, accessibility and availability of top-of-the-line products and services for TAP's demographic: Young, single adults ages 21-35 with no dependents; working a minimum of 25 hours per week; earning between $10 - 15 per hour. These individuals have only one mouth to feed prospectively, yet these days they are barely getting by and in most cases are solely responsible for rent/ housing costs. Even if they have family support, they still need help meeting financial obligations on occasion. TAP exists for this reason; for their benefit! TAP cares about the economic status of future community leaders, wage earners, and job-creators! ?
Why “Rock Star” Preferred Food & Beverage picks of the month posts are relevant to you or me? Because business professionals and working people eat out, patronizing fast food and restaurant chains more than any other person in a given community on average. We frequently eat on-the-go, in-between meetings and other tasks that keep us busy during work hours Mondays-Fridays usually. Ready-made and rapidly prepared foods are just more convenient therefore. Brown Bag lunches are rare these days, though bringing lunch from home is much more economical. Still, we found this group is still part of the business crowd of "foodies." For example, they regularly purchase snacks, sodas, and meal accoutrements from cafeterias or vending machines; whether on-site or at convenience stores before, after, or during work hours. ?

TAP encourages all members of the community to patronize restaurants and chains from its economic impact zone. Doing so contributes dollars back into the community, supports wage-earning workers, and encourages gainful employment by securing job openings from understaffing. Businesses have to accommodate the flow of traffic during busy or peak business hours, so they often hire more part/ full-time staffers. Additionally, many (about 40 percent) of the businesses within TAP's economic impact zone are either owned or managed by minorities and/ or women. Further, they employ large percentages of women and minorities as part of their work force as well. The Rock Star write-ups/ product review posts are timely and culturally relevant, summoning "all hands on deck" to head over to _______ and spend some money! You can all enjoy poking fun at my cheeky, corny descriptions and verbiage in each post! Campy no-doubt but it works! Check out my short posts with the title/ heading: "Preferred Food & Beverage "Rock Star" of the Month Pick.?
Thanks for taking the time to read this memo, and TAP and its representatives look forward to partnering with you all in making an impact in the fight to eradicate N. Dallas community inequities, poverty, and hunger! Remember, NOW is the TIME for giving! Give and likewise the same measure shall be given unto you! ?
Warmest Regards, ?
