Tamsin overcame self-doubt and hit $12K a month

Sometimes things in our personal life can affect our confidence and leak into our business life. Tamsin’s story is proof that, once you gain your confidence, you increase your income quickly. 

It’s amazing how, when we are surrounded by people who fiercely believe in us, who lift us up and encourage us, everything changes. As she shared in the video, Tamsin had her biggest month ($12K – in 2020!) after enrolling in Boldheart Business.  

In a recent conversation with me, Tamsin shared that she had tried different programs and coaches, but just didn’t feel like they were a fit. Upon joining us, things started changing for Tamsin almost immediately – she hit 10K for two months, then had a record month of 12K. She said that it was because she could finally relate to me and to the others.

When I asked Tamsin what’s magical about Boldheart, what she loves about it, and what works for her here’s what she shared:

“What works for me is the community. I love what I do. The thing that I’ve always struggled with is belief in myself. I’m smart, and I’m really good at following through on what I’m being told to do when I’m given a recipe. But I’m somebody that has a huge amount of self-doubt, like ‘I can’t do this. Who am I to do this? I can’t possibly make more money in my own business as I made as an academic.’

The thing that for me has been so key is the people with Boldheart: when I’m like, ‘I can’t,’ and everybody’s like, ‘It’s okay. We’ve got you. We see you. We can hold you, you can do this.’ That has been the massive, massive thing for me, being in a community of people that are like, ‘It’s okay, you can do this.’”

I asked Tamsin how this encouragement and support has helped her in her business in the time that she’s been with us in Boldheart:

“With people saying, ‘Do it,’ I’ve done it. And I’ve believed in myself… It’s being held. That’s the thing, you know, it’s being held.

Having people who see the bigger version of yourself when you stop seeing it. I think that’s the thing, is that I am very good at not seeing it for myself, but seeing it for my clients and seeing it for my friends. 

The Boldheart community has been so good at saying ‘No, no, no, don’t quit, don’t back away,’ when I’m just like, ‘I can’t do this.’ They’re like ‘You can do this. Do it. Get up. Keep going, you’ve got this. We see you, you are going to change the world.’ And I’m like, ‘Yeah.’”

As Tamsin agreed, we ambitious women with strong personalities sometimes need a soft place to land, don’t we? And to allow ourselves to be loved and championed for who we are.
