Talk to your spirit today

People should start giving their introductions to themselves. Self talk. Your spirit understands what you have to tell it. If you constantly tell it that it is a defeated, dreamless, aimless and directionless entity then it will internalise the same.

Tell your spirit that it is free-essentially a free spirit- and that everything is temporary, even pain for that matter. Tell your spirit that a change which will entail a joyous state of mind and a distraction-less pursuit of success and peace is just about to happen. Keep talking positive to yourself and you will see all goodness ricochet to you.

As famous Urdu poet Ghalib once said, " When joys did not last an eternity, what chance do sorrows stand".

For what is there in hiding from your own true spirit. Your spirit cannot be lied to for it is both the source and the receiver of all information. Just that your brushes with the world bring in the noise between spirit's self taught. Diminish the noise and you will see positive vibes flourish.

Forget that the last week was bad at office. You think the great leaders around were never mocked at. Never told they are inconsistent, lazy and lack imagination. Flush out the negativity and talk positive to your spirit for it is your only true friend.

You are not established. Do not have a million followers on Instagram. You do not have BMW racing bike. You are not the only one who is hard-pressed for time. Certainly, not the only one to be jealous of other people's travelling solo bike trips.

You are still the same spirit irrespective of the treatment the world dished out to you. In Team meetings you be brushed aside as a sidekick, a little nobody no one cares about. But you ask your spirit who you are and you will get answers.

Do not be incommunicado to your spirit. Feed it with positive thoughts. A better world view. And for God sake revive some sense of humour, for it is thee only incorruptible sense.

There are people who never succeed. There are people who fail and succeed and succeed and then get loss in the dark abyss. There are unsung heroes. And the there blue-eyed boys and eye candies. There are those capitalists who say aggregating wealth is the sole purpose of world and there are Moroccans who says wealth is "Mataa-adduniya" meaning Dirt of the world.

There is a jamboree of people out there. A success of some need not bog you down. wake up early morning and realise what a pleasant surprise it is to be alive, to be able to watch the sun rise up, drink water, have a shelter above your head and two times meals-For there are millions and millions of people who do not relish this luxury.

As many the people, that many the worldviews. You do not need to adopt someones worldview, however good or bad it is. You talk to your spirit, your own chum, your own soul mate. Your spirit is the mirror. You feed it with what you truly are. A homo-sapiens specimen who will die one day and not an employee who is occupied with thoughts of getting a hike.

Take your time out. Trek Mountains. Keep singing to your self. Make a phone call to a friend whom you have not seen for years. Make a plan. Have a cup of coffee with that forgotten and luckless friend of yours in the first floor cafe at the cul de sac part of the town-and while you climb up the rickety stairs say to your spirit that I feel happy today!

Do not wait for tomorrow. As Kahlil Gibran says, " Tomorrow. What will tomorrow give to the over-prudent dog burying bones in the trackless sands of desert" . The dog cannot haul it out tomorrow. Wolves will haul out the bones and relish the foolishness of dog: This is exactly what we humans do.

We bury our Joys of present thinking sometime in the future we will pull it out at our desired time. Till that time an opportune boss or a capitalist pig digs the shallow graves and peck at the last strand of happiness we had so assiduously buried.

Today is the day. The day of all days. Talk to your spirit. It has all the answers. It holds the key to your happiness. You have just taken a slightly wrong route or led adrift by a different current. Your spirit is your light house. seek it and then follow it. You will be fine soon.
