Talk, talk, talk.

I have always been a talker. Phone, in person, online, speaker, coaching etc. Now in certain settings I catch myself and don't overdue it, but sometimes I get on a roll and get excited.
Here are a few places where talking can be a helpful skill.
- Networking. Know what you want to say and why you want to say it! Have 3-5 questions you like to ask of the person you are talking to or meeting with. Don't be boring. Add a question in that you want to talk about.
- Speaking. Yep. If you want to advance your career and your thought leadership get on a panel, be a speaker, push yourself to talk about what you know. Sure, the first few times will be uncomfortable, but you may find you are a natural.
- Online. Talk more. Hitting a like button or the thumbs up isn't talking. Do more. Make a comment. Connect and tag another person. Promote an event that you enjoyed. Talk up someone else or something else.
Here are a few places I've been talking recently and I can't wait to share more. Let me know where you've been talking lately.
Cheers to talking to you again soon,
Cathy Paper
