This is an excellent book. I would recommend this book to readers of all ages – especially adults if they fancy dipping into some truly magical escapism, with beautiful imagery and humour combined. The writing style flows and I found it so easy to read this book from first to last page…and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. I struggled to put it down.
In an adult world, it is so easy to get bogged down with the realities of everyday life and this book delivered everything that I had hoped for…an emotional journey back to the feelings that I experienced and in which I thrived on from the past, of a child’s imagination, when everything is fresh, and untarnished. So if you secretly yearn to go back to those years when our imaginations were bursting with colourful images and feelings of pure excitement and exhilaration, to experience those feelings again, I would strongly recommend this book to you!
This book will appeal to adults because there are elements within it that will appeal to an adult's sense of humour and imagination (as they are cleverly written) and children alike.
