Unarguably, the term “entrepreneurship” has become frequently used nowadays and is more prominent than ever.
With that being said, Entrepreneurship refers to a person or a group of people who are willing to take a risk and create a business knowing very well they can suffer loss of money in return, but that also entails the fact that they will be in total control of this business.
Looking back to the past few years, the rates of employment have been spiraling to the point where public frustration is seen everywhere with a lot of youth sitting on the benches with their diplomas resting on their laps. The only alternative they had was to create something of their own to develop gradually and that would also enable them to choose the kind of field they want to work in, rather than be stuck at home or behind a desk working nine to five in a job they despise.
In part, this is why entrepreneurship is invading the world and contributing in economy with huge numbers as it is considered a source of wealth, social progress, technological development… In Tunisia for example, millennial entrepreneurs are boosting the economy with startups that turned into really successful and not only known but more importantly, reliable businesses such as: Dabchy, BnB Tunisie…
Indeed, the road of entrepreneurship is paved with hardships and mostly risks but once you set foot on the right path, the satisfaction is inexpressible:
In fact, it brings joy to turn your passions into profit, to bring something new into the market and you get to be your own boss where the work conditions are entirely of your choosing.
It also goes without saying that this phenomenon reduces unemployment and this can be highly beneficial especially in rural areas which are often found crowded in third world countries and consequently, entrepreneurs create a special bond within the closed community.
Indeed, a government that promotes and provides opportunities for entrepreneurs can pave the way for a better future since it affects the social as well as the cultural and the economic progress of a nation.
