Until now, TalentPool has not offered our platform to recruitment agencies to hire for their own teams. The rationale was simple: We didn't have enough of the right candidates.

Recruiters are major employers of graduates. A significant percentage of all sales professionals began their career as recruiters. So there is a large market to serve.

But at the same time, the right candidates aren't easy to find. Success in recruitment takes huge energy, determination and drive. It's not a role you're likely to fall into.

A lot of TalentPool's success over the past few years has been built on introducing candidates to sectors and employers they were not previously aware of. For a lot of roles, that dynamic works well (some of the best marketeers and ops managers I know had no idea what the role involved before taking the job). For recruitment, it's different; the rewards are there, but its tough.

So we avoided the sector, knowing we didn't have the users needed to succeed.

Over the past two years, we've received literally hundreds of requests from agencies for help in sourcing graduates. It turns out there isn't a system out there that works. So we started to think about how we could help.

Since we closed our $1m funding round in June we've started to target and engage candidates with a particular interest in recruitment. We now have more than 500 candidates on boarded seeking jobs at agencies; a small slice of our 70,000 total candidate pool, but enough to get going.

So, from today, we are accepting recruitment roles on TalentPool.

The process is exactly the same as for our existing 700+ clients; create an account for free, set up your campaign and submit for launch. Your dedicated campaign manager will oversee the campaign for you. Just sit back and let the matching engine do its work before receiving applications which you can sort with one click.
