Canadian Employment:

  • Employment Rate in Canada decreased to 60.70% in September from 60.80% in August of 2024. (Statistics Canada)
  • Unemployment Rate in Canada eased to 6.5% in September of 2024 from the 34-month high of 6.6% recorded in the previous month, defying market expectations of an increase to 6.7%.
