A highlight of some of the roles we've seen in the market. Overall the market is fairly busy especially in the USA and when you look at the broader WFP and PA landscape. Things are definitely quieter in rest of world. A surprisingly slow uptick in APAC where you would expect to see teams rebuilding .

I think there's another prong to people staying put; changes in philosophy to internal talent. Specifically, companies' investment in redeploying talent - prioritizing organic growth through internal talent movement, increasing opportunities to those within, and leveraging skills across different parts of the organization. While it doesn't lead to net new retention (one role closes, one role opens) - it's not always 1:1.

On retention and attrition, I think we're seeing a lot of people cling to current roles following the late 2022 through present (?) period where many companies that historically drove employment, especially in tech, shrunk or froze. Data (14% fewer people are finding new roles within three months) and anecdotes suggest that reduced voluntary attrition is more a symptom of shattered employee confidence than loyalty.
