8 out of 10 Africans were forced into the slave trade crossing the Atlantic between 1700-1850.

On June 19, 1865, (Juneteenth) federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas to announce the freeing of 250,000 Black people who had been enslaved.

I attended the International Women's Forum Cornerstone Conference in Helsinki last week and one of the hot topics was that Finland has ranked #1 for the past several years as the happiest country in the world by the World Happiness Report. We all wanted to know why. Dr. Lara Akin, one of the authors of the survey shared in a panel discussion that there are several indicators of happiness:

Our team supported?GiGi's Playhouse Inc.- Down Syndrome Achievement Centers?on June 11th with their annual 5k run, raising money to support their efforts for programming for children with Down Syndrome. This is an organization close to our team member?Mariah G.?as well as many others on our team with friends and family with Down Syndrome.

We appreciate all that volunteered, ran, or donated on behalf of our firm.
