Who are you, and what do you love most about your role as a Talent Acquisition Manager at Fast Pace Health??
I am Larisa Milam, a Regional Talent Acquisition Manager at Fast Pace Health. What I love most about my role is connecting talented healthcare professionals with opportunities that truly make a difference in their communities. I get to play a part in improving access to quality healthcare by recruiting the right providers and clinical staff to serve rural communities. Working alongside a passionate and driven team at Fast Pace Health has been a constant reward for me.?
What’s your approach to finding the right talent for Fast Pace Health? How do you ensure candidates align with our mission and values??
My first step is understanding the specific needs of the role, the clinic, and the community it serves. I work closely with hiring managers to clarify expectations, skills, and qualities needed for the position. I leverage various platforms, including job boards, networking platforms, and referral programs, to find talent that matches our culture and needs. I look for candidates who not only have the skills but also demonstrate a passion for patient care and align with Fast Pace Health's mission to improve the health of those in the communities that we serve. I build strong, transparent relationships with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure they fully understand our mission, values, and expectations.?

What’s something people might be surprised to learn about you outside of work??
I can play the flute and I love to volunteer! I volunteer at a local animal shelter every month, and I am passionate about animals.?

Advice I would give to someone interested in joining Fast Pace Health would be that collaboration is key here. Be ready to support your team and embrace a culture of helping each other. How do you stay motivated and energized when recruiting for multiple roles in such a fast-paced environment??
I remind myself that each role I fill directly impacts our ability to provide quality healthcare. Knowing that I’m helping connect the right people to meaningful roles keeps me motivated. I also rely on my team for collaboration and encouragement. Sharing challenges and successes keeps the energy and motivation high, even when things get busy.?
