Talent Acquisition Lead

They are constantly growing which equates to a busy internal recruitment team and sees them needing to employ an experienced and professional Talent Acquisition Lead to oversee successful delivery in this area, i.e. overseeing day-to-day recruitment activities to ensure the hiring of qualified employees and meet the company’s current and future objectives. This will entail leading and mentoring a team as well as sourcing, attracting, and hiring top candidates for the open positions in the organisation whilst strategically working with business to define future objectives and reporting on the full global recruitment lifecycle. You will need to be confident in reporting on metrics in line with the recruitment strategy. This role would suit a natural leader capable of dealing with a variety of personalities and making effective decisions quickly.
Responsibilities will include mentoring and supervising the talent team and overseeing the full ?recruitment cycle within the talent team to ensure the successful appointment of excellent employees; updating current or designing new recruitment procedures where necessary; ?ensuring recruitment strategies are in line with the company growth strategy; liaising with unit heads on hiring requirements and staffing needs; defining job descriptions and specifications; finding projects for internal supply; managing the full recruitment cycle including oversight of all relevant documents; understanding nuances particular to geo locations; implementing new recruitment procedures and sourcing methods; tracking recruiting metrics; reviewing and making recommendations regarding best choice recruitment software; assisting hiring managers with interview techniques; forecasting future hiring needs; participating in career days and job fairs; networking with various role players to build the company’s professional network; recommend ways to improve employer brand image with potential employees; and advising business on best recruiting practices.
To apply you will need a relevant degree and proven experience leading a team as a Talent Acquisition Lead / Recruitment Manager in a similar IT environment (specifically in the software development industry), with excellent understanding of Talent Acquisition and selection processes. You should be experienced in Talent/ Recruitment Data Metrics, well versed in social recruiting, knowledgeable of sourcing methodologies, proficient in using applicant tracking tools (TalentLink preferred) and have sound experience with Employer Branding strategies. You will need critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, and excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple functions and tasks. Detail oriented, a must!
