I wrote my memoir “My Career as a Separation Scientist” during the pandemic shut down last year and published it at amazon KDP in July 2021.?It chronicles my early upbringing in Hong Kong, the study in America as an international student, and my career as an analytical chemist in various industries.?It also turns out to be a Tale of Six Cities, which are:

1. Ningbo, where my ancestor came from in Zhejiang Province, China.
2. Shanghai, my birthplace.
3. Hong Kong, my hometown from age 2 to 19.
4. New York, where I went to college and started my career as an industrial chemist.
5. San Francisco, where I spent nine years in my last full-time job in a biotech company
6. Norwalk, CT, is my second hometown where I currently reside as a self-employed pharmaceutical consultant.
