Tale of an Injustice: A Quick, Anxious Glance Into the Bank Account of a Genius.

Once upon a time, a man with explosive potential was born. His parents gave birth to him in the most prosperous rich and abundant country history has ever seen.
The man wasn’t born into wealth, but thanks to the blessings of his home country... He was able to develop his mind and intellect during the early years of his life.
Reading…
Travelling…
Learning…
Good parents, a strong community, and a just (though imperfect) society contributed... These were the ingredients to the young man's early intellectual development.
Not only did the man develop his mind and intellect, but he also did the most valuable thing possible... The man chose a specialty, developed his skills, and honed his craft.
In more or less a decade, the man had become an expert in his chosen field… He understood his discipline like no one else… He had a unique perspective … a unique set an experience…
So the people who talked to him and worked with him all agreed on this fact…
He was a genius.
He offered something no one else could. He delivered with grace, rigour, thoroughness, and integrity...
Yet the man was also sometimes hard to understand … he was often awkward … and he often didn’t know how to deal with people. He tried his best—he really did—but he just wasn’t like most people…
And so he often felt mistreated, rejected, and misunderstood.
He often felt as though the world was missing out—and he was, too... There seemed to be a wall between him and the rest of the world.
He couldn’t reach his full potential because he couldn’t fit in … because he was too different from the rest of the world…
The conundrum was reflected in the man’s bank account. The man, when he had to, could only throw quick, anxious glances at his checking account’s balance.
The man, indeed, had decided to take the entrepreneurial road. He had decided to be his own employer. It was neither for the freedom nor for the money, though he enjoyed both.
It was because he knew he alone knew how to fulfill his vision.
He knew no employer could give him what he wanted and the permission to build what he wished.
So he went his own way.
Yet the man—a genius by all accounts—struggled to make ends meet. He brought something incredible to the table, but he could barely cover his bills.
Sounds unfair? It sure does.
To add insult to injury, hundreds of less qualified people improvised themselves captains of his industry and “in-demand thoughts leaders."
Charlatans dominated the landscape while the man suffered in silence. Not only did the man suffer, but millions of people more suffered from the fact he wasn’t the one winning.
The “gurus” and fake experts underserved the industry and ripped off people one after the other... Spurred by their unwarranted confidence and their desire for riches, they charged egregious prices... for low-quality services…
Why did that happen?
Why does this keep happening every year, in every industry, in every country?
Because the people with true expertise and depth of thinking fall prey to a design flaw in the nature of the world. What makes us rich from the inside is complex in profound…
But what makes us rich outside is simple and shallow…

… at least so it seems.
And for any intellectually minded person, shallowness is an unacceptable proposition. Shallowness = selling out.
That's understandable…
After all, once you’ve explored the depths of the world, why would you settle for shallowness?
Personally, I’d rather be poor than settle for shallowness.
But there’s a pretty compelling case for shallowness: It attracts money, and money attracts impact. And impact is what we all want… We want to be loved. We want to be accepted. We want to matter.
There’s no way around it. This is what drives us.
There’s some good news, though.
You don’t actually need to settle for shallowness to be rich and successful on the outside. The dirty truth that no one is willing to admit is that the world isn’t shallow because most people are shallow…
It’s shallow because most deep thinkers are afraid to speak up…
Most deep thinkers are afraid to say they want depth…
So the shallow, shameless charlatans who’d sell their mother without thinking twice end up running the show. And do they win? Oh, they do—they keep winning, that’s all they do.
How does this happen?
Well, these people aren’t afraid to simplify and communicate. It’s a confidence game. If you don’t get your skin in the game, you can’t win…
But the problem’s deeper… Once you’ve got your skin in the game, do you go all in? The charlatans always do. Most geniuses don’t.
Why? Because they care. Because they’re rigorous. Because they’re thorough. Because they’re sincere. Because they’re afraid of making mistakes that may hurt other people or themselves.
That’s understandable, but that’s also unacceptable.
Because both them and the people they should serve are suffering. Inaction is a worse predicament than failed action. Hard proposition to swallow for the smart people of this world … but it’s true nonetheless.
Now, if you’re still reading at this point, you can probably relate to the man I am talking about. If this how you feel, then I have good news: I didn’t make you read this whole story for nothing.
Because the solution to this predicament is simple: It’s simplicity itself. You can simplify and market your message without sacrificing its depth.
You don’t need to sell out to be successful.
You need to get over your fears, work through the complexity of your expertise. You need to give people what they’ve always wanted in the first place: Your Depth.
And for most people, writing and publishing a book is the best way to grow their expertise-based business for two reasons.
First, it helps them simplify their message.
Second, there are so many ways to use the book to make more money and create more impact.
There are at least 75 ways to use a book in your business, and I’ve made a list you can browse through.
If you’re ready to take your income and impact to the level you deserve, comment the word “book” and I’ll send you the list so you can start seeing the possibilities right away.
