A Tale of the Desert Rose
Poem by Adiba Khan

A Tale of the Desert Rose

Si, Mi Amor

I am your desert rose

When all your wealth and gold

Disappears to places untold

My love will remain unwavering and bold

When you question if my love is a guile

Angels will merely smile

To expose that my kiss has marked your every mile

With tears, you will ponder if that love can be as deep as the waters of the Nile

And realize that it should be valued more than diamonds in a pile

Moral: "Amor Vincit Omnia"
