Growth Hack #1 Don't ask for extra information
This marketer increased his conversion rate by 26% by removing something from his website:
Noah Kagan ran a test on his website’s submission form for email sign-ups.
His original form included 4 fields: Name, Email, URL, and Revenue.
He experimented by removing the Revenue field, making the form only 3 fields long.
The result? With the omission of just one of the required fields, he increased conversions by 26%.

Growth Hack #2 Good things come to those who wait
This financial service platform actually grew their client base by making people wait…
Robinhood, a financial service company, decided to announce a ‘waiting list’ for its product before launching. People were given a real position and could track their movement on the list.
To take it a step further, people could move up in the list by referring others to sign up, thus making the list even longer.
The result: the waiting list had over 1 million people within the first year, giving Robinhood a constant flow of new clients.
Growth Hack #3 Take away their pain
Increase sales leads by understanding customers’ pain points.
Home woodburning company, Gr8Fires, tried creating an exit pop-up that aimed to alleviate customers’ biggest pain points regarding purchase of a fireplace.
They found that the cost of installation is the most common factor that bars customers from moving forward with the purchase of a fireplace.
So, they tried incorporating a free installation cost calculator in their exit pop-up in exchange for an email address, allowing customers who were about to leave the site to calculate their cost and alleviate this potential pain point.
Results: A 300% increase in monthly sales leads.
